More than half of the sites have declined Flash over the past four years

Flash was declared a few years ago. Despite the fact that many companies have now begun to work particularly actively in this direction, much has also been achieved over the years.

In the last month alone, Amazon banned the use of Flash banners, Chrome default began blocking some Flash elements on the page, Firefox and Chrome blocked all Flash versions.

This is due to the persistent critical vulnerabilities in Flash and the poor optimization (low productivity) of the technology itself.

The last Flash plant is advertising banners. But it looks like they're about to leave in the summer, which also confirms Statista data over the past four years. Since 2011, the number of Flash sites has declined from almost 50 per cent to 22 per cent.
